This is not a Game review

So folks, in case you had not noticed n the last two weeks, we have a problem here, a big one.

A problem much like a rat infestation in ones kitchen.

We, as gamers, men, women, kids, dogs, plumbers, have all recently come together to call out these rats, and have shouted it from the top of the kitchen.

Now, I'm not going to say, post a list of names on who should be blacklisted from any possible participation in games culture.  You could do that yourself with a simple google search, and I'm sure journalistic organizations with actual integrity like, say, the AP, are already on it.

What I am going to say is that, after this is over, and there is a big smoking hole in the ground where the game review sites and game-award  contests used to be, well, we are going to have to fill in that hole and rebuild.

As gamers, we need to fill this hole ourselves.  With real reviews, with real Indie Gaming contests, with real integrity.

Lets do this.  Email me, or PM me on reddit, or call me names on twitter.  Lets set up a couple new contests where awards are given out.  Where the judges don't really know each other beyond maybe having a beer once.   Where we get together to celebrate not for sexual favors, not to push an agenda, not because our cult told us to, but because. we. love. to. game.
